The Christian Healing Institute is a non-sectarian Christian organization that adheres to the essential tenets of the Christian faith as proclaimed in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. We believe in:

THE TRINITY

One God in three persons who are eternal, co-equal, distinct and simultaneous: Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST

Fully God, fully man, who by the power of the Holy Spirit became incarnate of the Virgin Mary; He was crucified, He died, was buried, and rose physically from the dead; He later ascended into heaven in his resurrected body, and He will return in glory on the Last Day.

THE UNIQUENESS OF JESUS CHRIST

While religions and philosophies of the world may contain some elements of the truth, Jesus Christ alone is the full revelation of God, who through the Holy Scriptures judges and corrects all views and doctrines. All persons everywhere need to learn of Him, come to know and believe in Him, and receive forgiveness and new life in Him as there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved.

SALVATION

Salvation is obtained by grace alone, through faith alone, in the work of Christ alone, and not by our good works.

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, THE BIBLE

The canonical books of the Old and New Testaments are trustworthy as “God’s Word written,” sufficiently teach God’s will for His world, and have supreme authority for faith, life, and the continuous renewal and reform of the Church. They are inspired, infallible, and “contain all things necessary for salvation.”

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit, co-eternal with the Father and the Son, has since Pentecost come to reside in all Christians. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to experience and demonstrate the Kingdom of God on earth, including operating in the spiritual gifts listed in 1 Cor 12:4-11: tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, wisdom, knowledge, discernment, faith, healing and miracles. We trust in the promise of Jesus that, because the Holy Spirit dwells in us, we will do “even greater [more] things.” (John 14:12).
